William Danner Thomson, lawyer and civic leader, was born 18 May 1876 in Atlanta, Georgia, and died 30 April 1952 in Palm Beach, Florida. Thomson began his law career in his father's Atlanta, Georgia, firm, Candler and Thomson, and later became a partner in the firms Thomson and Hirsch (1906-1928; became Candler, Thomson, and Hirsch) and Tye, Thomson, and Tye (1928-1952).
